What is Blood Hounds?
Blood Hounds is a vampire hunting miniatures game. It roughly takes place in the year 2015 and is more or less a modern day game in every shape and form. Blood Hounds is the story of a group of hunters combating the Vampire Nation which is set to manipulate the world to its whim. The Vampire Nation takes the role of a puppeteer. Overall mankind knows not of the forces behind the scenes of daily life.

This website sets the story and background of the creation of the vampire and how the Vampire Nation was formed to rule earth through manipulation. For centuries perceptive humans have been combating this shadow over the world as we know it in the form of Vampire Hunters.

Blood Hounds richly details the Vampire Nation and its hierarchy of darkness. It also somewhat details the Blood Hounds themselves.


Who are the Blood Hounds?
The Blood Hounds are a group of vampire hunters entirely composed of transmutational beings and vampires. You are introduced to the entire world in which you hunt through their eyes. Although they are the story-centric focus of the game, the world is filled with dozens upon dozens of characters both good and bad each with their own personal feel and unique stories.


What is Blood Hounds Global Reckoning?
BH GR is the world book for Blood Hounds. It describes quite a bit about the Blood Hounds past and heavily details mankind's enemy, the Vampire Nation.

BH GR focuses on heavily detailing the world in which you play and also contains rules for setting up a Blood Hounds game, genre specific rules for terrain, environment, vehicles etc. For a full featured index of everything in BH GR click on the "Books" link above.

The contents of BH GR are free on this website. For those who want a physical book they may visit the store and purchase one.


Will there be force books to buy for Blood Hounds?
No. Every single unit for the entire game including art, background/story and Unit PDF Character Sheets will all be 100% free on this web site. The only books you need to buy to play Blood Hounds is the Pilgrim Cell base rule book.


When will these units be available to download?
As I work on them over a long period of time I will upload them to the web site as they are done one by one.


How many units will predictably be made for the world of Blood Hounds?
100+ are planned so far and have been roughly noted/concepted. I will work on them for a long period of time until they are all done and then probably make more as new ideas have surfaced during that time. Not to mention Foreshadow. :)


What forces can you play in Blood Hounds?
There are two main groups you may choose from and a third group you may cull extra talent from.

The Notoriously Good
Those who work against the Vampire Nation as hunters.

The Nefariously Bad
Vampires who work within the Vampire Nation.

The Conspicuously Ugly
Those who don't fit cleanly as good or bad and so remain in a gray area of sorts.

Each force is heavily detailed with units so you may play on either side of the fence so to speak.


What do you need to play Blood Hounds?

What miniatures do you use to play Blood Hounds?
I will be coming out with official 20mm miniatures in 2008. If you want to use your own miniatures such as 28mm then that will work also. Blood Hounds will be fully compatible with both miniature scales.


How is that possible?
When Unit PDF's are uploaded you will be able to choose from 15/20mm or 28mm versions. They will note differences in measurement for movement, weapons, command radius etc.


So what product is planned for Blood Hounds?

• Blood Hounds Global Reckoning World Book - Free on this site unless you want a full color physical copy.

• Full line of 20mm miniatures and vehicles.

• Full line of modern day paper buildings that you print out on cardstock and use for terrain.

• Although the Pilgrim Cell War Blade and tokens may be downloaded for free, physical versions will be made and sold for play as well.

• PDF Scenario Packs that contain five scenarios per pack. Scenarios will detail a full mission profile, terrain setup, point cost, objectives etc. Each scenario will come with two versions of a mission - Player VS Player, and a Single Player/Cooperative Play mission. (SPITE is needed for the latter)
