The Black and White book has slightly less quality paper that is not coated like the color book which means graphics/images are not printed as smooth. The text is printed crisp and sharp in both color and B&W versions.

I whole heartedly recomend the color version. It is so far beyond the B&W version in rich colors and detail there is no comparison. So much is lost in the translation to B&W I almost didn't make the B&W version. But I know some of you are on a budget or simply don't care so the B&W version is there to accomodate your needs.

Everything is laid out in a very open, easy to read format. I focus on one or two conepts per page clearly seperating different topics. This makes it much easier to reference certain rules while quickly scanning through pages.
