Why is Joe credited in Pilgrim Cell?
Pilgrim Cell started as a cooperative project between myself, joe and a few friends. The agreement was we would cooperatively develop the rules and both make games using the rules for our respective companies in the end. However when joe didn't "overly" work on the project due to "Joe issues" I left and continued development on my end. So Joe is credited for coming up with "input" but more or less not taking the time to work them out, word them, test them or continue to develop rules anywhere near the end. I went off, made my own name for the rules (Pilgrim Cell), continued development with RKE Steve and eventually finished them later.

Weren't you and Joe going to have a single company back in the day?
Yes and no. We had our own respective companies but we were going to unite them under one banner IE one store, combined news anouncements etc. You know, the whole idea of "together we are stronger". So we were going to have seperate company websites but a unified front for people to buy product from, read news etc.

You were going to run a store with Joe? Are you on drugs?
Yes. No.

Why aren't you doing it anymore?
1. Joe is not ready to make his stuff yet concerning motivation etc.
2. Concerning public affairs, having my company and rep tied to Joe's mouth and internet mannerisms was somewhat disconcerting. So I split.

Why?
We, ie me and a few of the people who made Pilgrim Cell really tried to be his friends and help him. In the end he constantly sabotaged himself thus failing to do anything to better his situation or rectify his past mistakes. After quite a bit of time the nature of the friendship became rather apparent. Something akin to a drug addict stabbing a hooker with a good samaritan trying to intervene before the cops showed up.

Why didn't you split earlier?
Those closer to the situation often have a better persepctive. Unfortunately those closer are also more muddied with details and less bothered by outstanding issues as they are personally invested. I was guilty of not taking heed to outside opinions and foolishly persisted on wasting my time.

So what was his deal?
Meaning?

His major malfunction?
I think it stemmed from a bout of public procrastination then retaliation, a small amount pf penis envy in that he wanted to become industry but was having trouble achieving on his end, small amounts of depression, hate and self loathing with copious amounts of screwing people over which came back to haunt him publically and then in turn mentally. I mean hell, creators suffer from half of that shit anyway. But Joe dug a deep grave in the wrong areas which repeatedly dicked him in the end. (Pun intented)

So was he really a dick? Were people's accusations dead on?
Many were. Some were not. There was a lot going on behind the scenes that most people simply didn't know. The public accusations were about 85% correct. All things considered in the end you guys did give him many fair chances.

Will you tell me what happened behind the scenes? I won't tell anyone else.

Will you work with him on anything in the future?
Not concerning anything having to do with RKE. Anything else, it depends on the job and how much I would be paid up front. Overall, doubtful.

Will you ever be friends again?
That's for Joe to decide based on certain decisions he must make and actions he must take.
