Whats up with all the Red Knight Silhouettes
I love sunsets and really cool morning sky colors. Sometimes when going to work in the evening I whish I had a camera to take pictures of skies. Of course this means I would inevitibaly drive off a bridge or overpass thus adding to the cluster fuck that is known as San Diego/Los Angeles traffic but hey, beauty is beauty.

I like sky scenery so much that one day I decided I wanted to do up a really cool sky. But I just didnt want to do a sky picture alone so I decided to put a silhouette of the Red Knight in it and base the sky around that. Kind of like images you see with a silhouetted couple walking along the beach. So I made my very 1st image and loved it. HERE.

After that I made way more. A side effect of making the silhouettes was picturing a story in my head when working on them. This led to a lot of development of the Red Knight and then I started dreaming more heavily of dancing images of death and reprive in my head which in turn fueled more silhouettes.

The red knight has changed greatly from silhouette to silhouette as i have constantly evolved the idea, weapons and history.

Are you going to make other images in silhouettes other than the Red Knight?
From time to time if I feel it warranted for a project then I'll do a few to help fill out a book (Pilgrim Cell for instance) so it looks nice but not as a regular series as the Red Knight. I enjoy doing the Red Knight as silhouettes with wild skies as it is a marriage of two things I love and even when the Red Knight is fully revealed in the future I will still do silhouette series's since I love 'em. I do them soley for myself and share them with you.
