Unit
PDF's
After you buy Pilgrim
Cell that is nearly the last book you will ever need to buy for
your chosen game. (Unless you are into SPITE,
TnA, GRIM
etc) A game's entire world setting & background will be on the website.
But as for units, those are free in what I call Unit PDF's.
What are those?
Respectively:
Unit PDF's contain the complete statistics for all playable units in
a game.
Instead of selling them to you in a army book or making you buy them
as downloads they are FREE as a direct download.
A Scenario PDF is the same. It contains all the information needed to
play different scenarios (Missions) with full blown setup, rules etc.
However scenarios are sold in packs containing five full scenarios which
may be played with any forces in the corresponding game. So scenarios
cost where as unit PDF's do not.
Why PDF's?
I can make them faster, cheaper and deliver them to you with more regularity
than making books. You save a ton of money and have full access to every
single unit made for a game, FREE.
How much does a Unit PDF cost me?
Zip, zilch, zero, nada.
Isn't that kind of crappy, just putting some
stats together and giving it away for free?
Yes, that's why I am giving you more. Normally from big companies you
would get unit art, plus a full blown description and then the stats
for the unit. I'm giving you all that inline with my
personal philsophy. Instead of putting all of that in a book that
you would have to pay for I simply put it in a "virtual book"
(My website) for free.
So how would I access that?
1. Well first you find a game you
like, m'kay?
2. Then you find the forces for
that game.
3. You check out the art for units
and read their descriptions/backgrounds.
4. If you dig a unit then you click
- Download Unit Stats. That will give you a sharp, printable black and
white PDF to download and print so you can play.
5. If you really like that unit
you can then buy the miniature if you so please.
So in the end you are getting shitloads of units for all forces in a
game complete with art, unit background and printable stats all for
free. Pending the game this could constitute anywhere from 20 units
to well over 100.
Okay, now what about these scenarios? How much
does a Scenario PDF cost me?
2 bucks.
Not free?
Sorry. Not free.
What does 2 bucks get me?
Five full scenario missions for you choice of game complete with player
VS player and SPITE versions of each and every scenario. Sometimes they
even come with force specific versions that details a specific fight
with specific units. So a minimum of roughly 20-30 pages of straight
game play content that works with any force in the game for a whopping...
2 bucks.
